Kittleman Thomas handles appeals, in both federal and state courts, in all types of cases. Our firm has a highly active appellate practice. We have served as appellate counsel in matters before the following courts: United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, Texas Supreme Court, Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, First Court of Appeals in Houston, Third Court of Appeals in Austin, Fourth Court of Appeals in San Antonio, and Thirteenth Court of Appeals in Edinburg and Corpus Christi.

Though Kittleman Thomas is willing and able to go before any Texas appellate court, much of the firm’s appellate practice is before the Thirteenth Court of Appeals. Between 2012 and 2014, Kittleman Thomas served as appellate counsel in 35 civil appellate matters before the Thirteenth Court of Appeals. The firm’s appellate attorneys, Ricardo Pumarejo and Tracy Spillman, previously served as law clerks for the Thirteenth Court of Appeals for a combined total of seven years.

We possess unique insight into the appellate process and have a long track record of success in a wide variety of appellate matters. Kittleman Thomas is well qualified to offer experienced analysis of the merits of a potential appeal. Interested parties and trial attorneys alike are encouraged to contact Ricardo or Tracy to schedule a consultation.
